NO MEIO DO CAMINHO
Lisbon Geological Museum, PT, 2018
In this group of incised ceramic pieces, the engraved mark appears as a common element, echoing certain palaeontological specimens found in the Geological Museum of Lisbon. Through the mark, something — once recorded — becomes distinct. A remembrance of what once existed, and of what still exists within us. It is a dance of time, a relationship of memories. The memory of life from the past — abstract and distant as it may be — lingers within us. A trace that we now recognise, and which will, in turn, be engraved in our own memories.
